Do you offer packages or retainers?
We don't really offer traditional retainers, but do month to month work for many of our clients. We will establish a monthly budget, but you only get charged for time used. We also offer a variety of branding packages as well as customized solutions.
What do you need from me to get started?
With any project, no matter how large or small, we will conduct an onboarding meeting prior to project start. During this meeting we will gather information about your business, discuss brand/marketing strategy, establish roles and responsibilities, and set timeframes. We rely on our clients to provide insight to their industry and any existing brand and marketing materials.
Will I be involved in the creative process?
We want every client to collaborate in the creative process. We have detailed questionnaires to help define the right creative direction before we begin. Each scope of work clearly defines how many concepts you will receive and how many rounds of revision are included.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
While a logo is important, it's just one facet of your brand. Your brand identity encompasses the core visuals and content that will represent your company aross all marketing platforms - logo, colors, typography, imagery, tone of voice, and key messaging.
How much does logo design cost?
Logo design cost can greatly vary from company to company. The important thing to understand is what you are getting for the cost you are paying. We present a clearly defined scope of work that outlines deliverables, timelines, and number of revisions allowed. Every logo we design is completely custom and versatile for display across applications. We do competitive research. You will be given all native files, full ownership and copyright for your logo once full payment has been received.
Do you provide website hosting and SEO services?
While we will design and build your new website, we do not provide in-house hosting or SEO/SEM services. We do have trusted partners that we refer to our clients for these services. Many of our clients already have a host provider and we can work with most 3rd parties. We guide our clients through this process for a seamless solution.
Will I own my website? Can I edit it myself?
We build all of our websites with open source CMS solutions like WordPress and Joomla. What this means is that YOU OWN YOUR SITE. You also have more freedom and flexibility with design and plugin options for site growth and customization. If you want to make a backup of your site and move it to a different host provider, you can do so at any time. You do not have a subscripton based pricing cost for a 3rd party drag and drop builder - like SquareSpace, Weebly, or Wix. We can train you to make updates yourself easily to content (no programming knowledge required), or we can assist with maintenance as needed.
What are your payment terms?
We require 50% downpayment prior to job start, and 50% due upon job completion and file delivery. We accept ACH, credit card and check payment. Monthly contacts require different payment terms and vary per client need.
